Estimates & Pricing
Every website is different.
Published pricing reflects typical starting prices and is intended as a general guide. After discussing your project, you’ll receive an estimate before any billable work begins.
No work will begin until pricing has been agreed upon.
Payment
Payment is due according to the invoice provided.
For one-time services, payment is generally required before work begins unless otherwise agreed in writing.
For ongoing website care, invoices are billed according to the agreed service schedule.
Failure to pay may result in suspension of ongoing work.
Website Access
To perform requested work, you may need to provide temporary administrative access to your website, hosting account, domain registrar, or other related services.
You remain the owner of your website and accounts at all times.
You are responsible for maintaining backups of your own website unless backup services are specifically included as part of your service.
Third-Party Services
If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.
How long we retain your data
Many websites rely on third-party providers, including:
- Hosting companies
- Domain registrars
- Email providers
- WordPress plugins
- Themes
- External APIs
Marshland Marketing is not responsible for outages, pricing changes, policy changes, software defects, or service interruptions caused by third-party providers.
WordPress & Software Updates
WordPress, themes, and plugins are continually updated by their developers.
While every effort is made to maintain compatibility, updates may occasionally introduce unexpected issues beyond my control.
I cannot guarantee compatibility with every plugin, theme, or third-party service.
Project Timelines
Estimated completion dates are provided in good faith but are not guaranteed.
Project timelines may be affected by:
- Client response times
- Requested revisions
- Third-party providers
- Hosting issues
- Technical limitations beyond my control
Client Responsibilities
Clients agree to:
- Provide accurate information
- Respond to requests for information promptly
- Maintain ownership of their licenses, subscriptions, and accounts
- Review completed work promptly
Limitation of Liability
Marshland Marketing provides services using reasonable care and professional judgment.
However, no website can be guaranteed to be completely free of bugs, security vulnerabilities, downtime, or unforeseen technical issues.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Marshland Marketing shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from the use of this website or any services provided.
Liability, if any, shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
Refund Policy
Because services involve time, consultation, and technical work, refunds are generally not available once work has begun.
If a problem arises, every reasonable effort will be made to resolve the issue fairly.
